Brent Crude (also known as Brent Blend, London Brent and Brent petroleum) is a type of oil extracted from the North Sea in Europe. Brent Crude is used as an oil marker to price two thirds of the world's internationally traded crude oil supplies. Other widely-used oil benchmarks are Dubai Crude and West Texas Intermediate (USA).
